The socio-economic and political climate in the South Caucasus and its neighborhood changes constantly. This transformation process has different manifestations in each of the emerging post-Soviet democracies. The goal of the conference was to explore national and international dimensions of post-Soviet transformations in the South Caucasus and its neighborhood and to discuss new approaches to analyzing the trends of regional and international policies of the emerging democracies, while promoting methodological innovation. The conference focused on constructive “how-to” discussions, offering researchers the opportunity to discuss and compare their methods and findings.
